FIND OUT MOREInternational commercial disputes law firm Signature Litigation today announces the appointment of international arbitration specialist Amany Chamieh, who joins its Paris office as Counsel. With over ten years’ experience in international arbitration, Amany joins Signature Litigation in Paris from French law firm Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier. Amany has deep experience in arbitrations across geographies including the Middle East and North Africa, in addition to cases in France. Her understanding of the cultural nuances specific to the MENA, coupled with her native fluency of Arabic, enables Amany to anticipate her clients’ requirements here, delivering additional value for clients operating in the region.
Amany’s experience in these regions, coupled with her prior role at the ICC as Deputy Counsel at the Secretariat of the International Court of Arbitration, further strengthens Signature’s capabilities relating to ICC arbitrations, and follows the election in July 2024 of Partner Tsegaye Laurendeau as a member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Court for the 2024-2027 mandate.
Amany’s practice spans sectors such as energy, digital, telecoms, defence, construction, metallurgy all of which fit seamlessly with the experience of the broader arbitration team across Signature’s offices. Amany also acts as arbitrator (sole arbitrator and co-arbitrator) in ad hoc and ICC arbitrations. She speaks French, Arabic, German and English.
