Philip Dunham co-chairing the 4th edition of GAR Live: Shanghai

4 April 2024

Panels of experts will discuss topics including global developments in the field of arbitration and the implications for China, and investor-state dispute settlements affecting China and Chinese companies, further exploring the evolution of these disputes and notable cases. Specialists will also examine the impact of technologies on the protection of IP rights involving patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets, and will identify legislative developments and updates which will make arbitration more IP-friendly, while also discussing the rise of special IP-related disputes centres.

The conference will conclude with a debate to discuss whether artificial intelligence will eliminate unconscious bias in international arbitrations.

This year's GAR Live: Shanghai conference will take place on 27 June 2024, from 9am to 4.35pm.
