Nicholas is an Associate specialising in commercial and financial litigation in London.

He has particular experience of defending professional services firms and financial institutions in complex, high-value claims involving allegations of breach of contract, professional negligence, and breach of statutory duty. Nicholas also has experience of defending professional services firms and engagement partners subject to large-scale regulatory investigations.

Prior to joining Signature Litigation, Nicholas trained and qualified as an Associate at Clyde & Co LLP. He has also completed a secondment at Deloitte.

  • Representing Renault and certain of its Authorised Dealerships in the NOx Diesel Emissions Group Litigation in London, a claim of unprecedented scale in the English court, in which more than 1.6 million claimants have issued claims against car manufacturers (and others). The case involves a 12-week technical trial which started in October 2025 and will conclude in March 2026.
  • Representing a broad range of clients during high-value commercial disputes including major insurers and reinsurers, global accounting firms, and international law firms.
  • Defending professional services firms and engagement partners subject to large-scale regulatory investigations, from the opening of the investigation to the determination of sanctions.
