Anélia Naydenova

Anélia is an Associate in Signature’s Paris office, where she specialises in Product Liability litigation.

With significant experience defending product manufacturers, Anélia advises clients across all types of litigation and regulatory investigations. She represents manufacturers in high-profile cases brought by NGOs, consumers, and business partners before French courts and market surveillance authorities.

Anélia has developed particular expertise in toxic tort matters, especially asbestos litigation, and regularly participates in expert proceedings related to alleged product defects, including complex fire cases. She also advises clients facing investigations and enquiries by market surveillance authorities. Her comprehensive understanding of European product regulations positions her as a leading advisor on the new EU Product Safety Regulation and other emerging product-related legislation, including in the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) space.

She regularly assists clients with product recall issues and the implementation of EU-wide corrective measures.

Prior to joining Signature, Anélia gained valuable experience in the litigation teams of international law firms in both France and Spain, including Hogan Lovells.

Anélia holds dual Postgraduate Degrees: one in Commercial Litigation from Panthéon-Sorbonne Paris 1 University and another in International Private Law from Panthéon-Assas Paris 2 University.

Anélia was called to the Paris Bar in 2024. Anélia is a native Bulgarian speaker and fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Catalan.
