Aimée is an Associate at Signature’s London Office with over 4 years’ experience in highly complex commercial litigation and international arbitration matters. Aimée has worked on two of the top five most tracked High Court cases of 2024, and has assisted on appeals at the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

At Signature, she has also conducted research on a range of issues, including cross-border service, unfair contract terms and trust beneficiary rights.

Alongside her practice, Aimée champions Signature’s legal AI programme at junior level, exploring how artificial intelligence is reshaping litigation and what that means for the next generation of lawyers. She is due to be a panellist at upcoming industry events on these themes.

Prior to qualifying in 2025, Aimée joined Signature as a paralegal, having previously worked as Assistant Partnership Secretary and dispute resolution paralegal at Travers Smith LLP. Aimée also gained experience as a paralegal at Pallas Partner LLP.

In 2020, Aimée earned a distinction in her master’s dissertation on the future of collective competition actions for collective redress.

Aimée is a native English speaker with a working proficiency in both French and Spanish. Prior to studying law, Aimée obtained a 2:1 at undergraduate level in French and Spanish with Linguistic Studies from the University of Southampton.

Commercial Litigation

  • Representing partners in a UK private equity firm, along with associated global entities, in a Commercial Court claim alleging diversion of the business opportunity to conduct an asset recovery process on behalf of the Family and Estate of the late Badri Patarkatsishvili, a Georgian billionaire. The claim is valued in excess of USD 100m.

Banking and Financial Markets Litigation

  • Representing over 130 institutional shareholders in Barclays Plc claiming over GBP 500m in losses arising out of allegations arising under s.90 and 90A FSMA. The allegations arose from misconduct arising out of Barclays’ liquidity dark pool and settlement agreements entered into between Barclays and the New York Attorney General and the Securities and Exchange Commission. This case was at the forefront of certain legal issues arising under s.90A FSMA including the issue of passive investors’ rights to pursue redress, as well as the right by shareholders to obtain inspection from the company of legally privileged documents.
  • Representing over 200 institutional claimants with respect to over 1,000 different funds/portfolios in a c. GBP 1.5bn group action claim against Standard Chartered involving allegations of untrue or misleading statements and omissions in information published by the Defendant to the market giving rise to claims under s90 and s90A Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.

International Arbitration

  • Representing the founders of a fintech business focussed on delivering digital banking services in minority oppression claims brought through SIAC arbitration with the total value of claims in excess of USD 100m.
  • Representing US investor Discovery Global LLC in a USD 600m ICSID arbitration against Slovakia concerning breaches of the US-Slovakia Bilateral Investment Treaty relating to Discovery’s investment in oil and gas exploration activities in eastern Slovakia

Pro Bono

  • Representing an individual in a reference to the Upper Tribunal in relation to a decision notice issued by the Prudential Regulation Authority which raised issues as to fitness and propriety to perform certain regulated functions. Also advising the client on the pursuit of a complaint to the Financial Regulators Complaints Commissioner.
