Paralegal
Elise is a Paralegal/Translator at Signature’s Paris office. She assists the entire office, with some focus on the Commercial Litigation and Product Liability teams.
Elise joined the firm in March 2024, first as a trainee and then as a Translator and Paralegal. Her responsibilities as translator span a wide range of materials, including legal decisions, writs of summons, submissions, statements, meeting minutes, memos, articles and complex technical documents.
In addition to her translation work, Elise’s role as a Paralegal offers practical legal insight and clear understanding of procedural requirements and case-specific stakes. She is closely involved in cases where she not only translates but also drafts meeting minutes, tracks case developments, and monitors upcoming deadlines.
Prior to joining the firm, Elise completed a Master’s degree in Translation and spent a semester abroad in Suwon, South Korea.
Elise is a native French speaker, is fluent in English, and speaks intermediate Spanish and basic Korean.
